Bio: Brian Berson
Involved in the New York music scene since the age of 15, Brian spent summers vacations touring with friends bands carrying equipment, spending weeks on the road stretching from New York to Denver. After Graduating, Brian continued in a larger role as touring manager, guitar and bass tech for the bands. Finally finding his call in the music industry Brian began photographing concerts.
His success in this chapter finds him photographing music legends such as Billy Gibbons of ZZ top, Billy Duffy of the Cult, members of STP, Matt Sorum of Guns & Roses and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park. Developing his own unique style of shooting Rock/indie Rock shows, Berson integrates the crowd’s excitement which is generated from the music performed into his photos. This allows the viewer to really be in the moment of the show.
When asked to name his favorite bands Brian will laugh and check his watch to see if there is enough time to rattle them off before he starts telling you the Deftones, Social Distortion, Jesse Malin, Springsteen, Gaslight Anthem and Brian Fallon solo, Rolling Stones, Quicksand, Mastodon …………………….more time needed…
