Thursday night brought a packed crowd to the Paramount for a three-band line up that was headlined by the area’s favorite Clutch. The other two bands StÖner and King Buffalo also had big followings and lots of new fans by nights end.
It was the extreme high energy of Clutch that woke up anyone who has been asleep for the past 18 months in Covid seclusion. Welcome back folks, Rock Music has returned, Neil Fallon and gang has made sure we all know this.
The concert had a large draw of people from surrounding states, which is a new thing for the Huntington location. Being the bands only Tri-state area show there were lots of fans coming in from New York City. Being form Long Island it was always, lets go to NYC to see bands not so now. Kudos to the Paramount for bring such amazing shows to Long Island as it Celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Playing a 20-song set, Clutch touched on all of their major works of art through the years. Another testament to how big and important they are to rock music and their fans.
